Major Victory for New Hampshire Kids

The New Media Firm is proud to have partnered with our friends at Granite State Progress this spring on a successful digital program to urge New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu and state lawmakers to oppose a bill that would hurt New Hampshire’s kids.

State Republicans claimed the so-called “parental rights” legislation would increase parents’ oversight into school curriculum when in reality it would have weakened protections for the state’s most vulnerable kids and forced schools to disclose confidential records of LGBTQ+ students. Granite State Progress and allies defeated the bill in late May after Senate Republicans had advanced it on party lines.
